ABOUT THE EDITOR
My name is Camille Picott, and I am the owner and editor of PIXIU Press. I've always felt speculative fiction lends itself to spectacular artwork. PIXIU Press began as a venue for me to produce my own full-color, illustrated books. I enjoyed the process so much that I now wish to expand my publishing operation. I want to bring stories and illustrations together to create beautiful books.
With my company, I also seek to support education and, in doing so, to bring more speculative fiction to the classroom. I have two in-house curricula specialists, both of whom are credentialed educators. They develop teaching curricula for our Heritage Tale books. All copy-ready curricula are given away for free online.
If you would like to chat in person, I will be at the World Fantasy Convention 2009 in San Jose, California.
I look forward to reading your stories and seeing your illustrations.
